Toomer Flea Market Fundraiser
Tomorrow, Berlin Farmer's Market
The forecast for tomorrow is 71 degrees and partly sunny (or partly cloudy depending on your outlook).This will be the first of four Saturdays that the Toomer Family will be raising funds at the Berlin Farmer’s Market. Our table will be located in the T row, space 54. See the purple area in the map below. This space has only one table. (boo hoo) All of the other locations with tables were taken. So I guess a blanket or two will do, for now.
Don’t tell anyone, but, we have been asked to take a picture for possible publication in a national magazine.

Oh shoot, a national magazine! How about I was just thinking yesterday, while scrolling through every corner of this website, that someone needs to get us on Oprah. There is no better subject than my Toomer family. I have never seen another family so in touch with each other and motivated to always find more history. Let's hit the road to Chicago and knock on the door of Harpo's Studio. Heck Shamele, why don't you just create a Toomer talk show, you create everything else. (smile) Lia

I had a nice time at the
Flea Market Saturday! Just being out there watching all of the people and interacting is great. We had one lady stop and talk and decided to take a seat with us. She is a regular and seemed to know a lot of the vendors. Family members, come on out and support our effort! This fundraiser is to help offset the cost of our Reunion, meaning keeping the cost at a minimum for you. It really is not like work, it's fun. Hope to see more of you stop by next saturday.
