*Caroline was a slave in NC and in Perry, GA, owned by the Toomer family.

My name is Randy L. Toomer Jacobs. My Father is Amos Lee Toomer fo Daytona Beach Florida. His Mother was Jean or Jeanie Toomer of Daytona Beach at the time of her death. She was the mother of several children; namely bruela, raymond, doc gredy.. I never really knew my Father;s family and i was wondering if he could be related to you all. You seem to have a wealth of knowledge about the Toomer family. Hello, I just happened to see the Toomer information on a web page.
My mom's maiden name is Calvin Elizabeth Toomer born in Macon, Georgia in 1936.
Her Dad's name is Willie Toomer, not sure what year Grandad was born. He often talked about Perry Georgia.

Hello, Toomers!
My Dad was John Coyle Toomer, son of John and Millie Coyle Toomer, grandson of John and Lena Armstrong Toomer. That's as far as I can go. John Toomer was orphaned when he was a small boy about 7 years old. Cannot find a trace of his dad, John Toomer or his mother Lena. Kinfolks say they died from typhoid but others say they just left the five kids and ran away. The boys John, Joe, and Frank were taken in by different families in the area; the two girls Annie and Jessie May were taken to an orphanage and later adopted. My Dad John Coyle and his Dad, John were born in Texas and died in Texas. I was born in Texas and am still here!!
We are a proud bunch of Texans!! By the way on the WWII list, my Dad's brother, Howard H. Toomer is listed. Uncle Howard lived until 1990 and is buried at Bald Prairie Cemetery, Robertson County, Texas.

I can fill in the rest of the descendents.

Hello, I live in Chicago but my Toomer lineage is from Charleston South Carolina, My great grandparents were Issac and Cornelia(Walker Toomer) the offspring of this union was William, Joseph,Cornelia,Robert, Johhny, Eugenia, Charles( my mother's father) Rebecca, Irene, Thomas and Theodora. Does anyone here have a link to the South Carolina Lineage. It seems the Toomer (3) Brothers or Family were plantation owners and thats where we decended from. Thanks
